Levanto is one of the most desirable locations in Italy for surfers, its coast lines allows the creation of wonderful waves, mostly when the south-west and Mistral winds blow. The presence of sandy (Casinò and Pietra), mixed (Pipetta) and rocks (Nadia and Gritta) bottoms allows the formation of waves of different sizes and quality, although the notoriety of Levanto's waves is mainly due to the size, which with certain conditions may exceed 3 meters in height.
It's also possible to play tennis, soccer, beach volleyball and to participate in numerous tournaments during the summer. For lovers of cycling, you will find many trails ideal both for mountain biking and race bike.

Ferry boats operate from April to October and on the weekends it's also possible to reach Portofino and Genova to visit the biggest Italian aquarium.
